Gun Dogs NW BC

Can anyone suggest a breeder of gun dogs who sells trained or started dogs in NW BC or the Bulkley Valley?

Preference for spaniels, especially cockers

I think there is not much around in the Bulkley Valley. I know of some breeders in the area but none sells trained dogs or cocker spaniels.

I've got my Chesapeake from the lower mainland years ago...

I don't know about cocker spaniels, but for field springers, we went to Alberta. Our two current dogs came from Prairie Springers. They came as pups with no training. There are very few field spaniels bred in B.C. Show spaniels are more common but they often lack heart, chest and brains.

do you know former member Bland? He's from Bulkley valley area and his primary hunting these days is with his dog chasing grouse all season.
His current dog was from the US, back east but I know he spends a lot of time researching breeds, breeders and training
I bet dollars to donuts that he would know of any quality breeders of the dogs you are looking for if they exist in Hwy 16 country.
