Hi all,

I heard about this forum through another forum where some of your members were "repping" this site.

I'm not a gun "nutz" or a hunter but I do appreciate target shooting. I've only shoot a handful of round of actual firearms but I have wasted my share of CO2+pellets on all kinds of target(no airsoft Rambo action I swear).

I'm also hoping on here to get a feel of what goes "on the other side of the fence", namely, on the side that is pro-gun ownership. I am more and more aware and annoyed to how much our government is taking more and more steps to make this a "nanny state", and I don't like this.

See ya around

Glad you're here - sounds like you'll fit in very well! Planning on doing your PAL?

I'll definitely look into it and the costs/assles/responsibilities associated with it but I think for now, the CFSC is what I would want for some summer entertainment purposes.

BTW I quickly searched for the requirements to obtain the PAL and found this pretty funny bit:

A headshot photo is also included in your application...

Hours of playing video games came back to mind... I probably have a few "headshot" screen shots laying around ;)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but fyi the CGSC is really the main step to the PAL (all will be explained in the course) - the fun cann't start until post-PAL.

I have a freshly minted Pal and I started the process on April 11 so it took a little over three months. Just brought my first gun home last week, a Browning Buck Mark Camper .22LR not expensive feels solid. Have to take a new member safety course up at the range on Tuesday and then..............:ar15:

Get started on your PAL asap you will have no regrets..........
