Ok, so I have a Norinco np-22. great gun, no issues(only had it about a week or two, put a couple hundred rounds through it maybe) But all of a sudden its not shooting to slide lock. It fires like normal until I get a click... It was just doing it the odd time, but last time I shot it did it every mag.

Not really sure what the problem is here, everything on the gun seems to be functional. Anyone have any ideas?

Check where your thumb ends up - it may be blocking the slide from locking back. Exact same thing happened to me, and I posted the exact same question on the forums. The thumb was indeed the culprit.

The magazine may be bent. Look at the left wing of the mag. It can be bent carefully up a bit to catch the mag lock.
This same thing happened on an old 1911A1 with only one of the 3 mags. I bent the left lip up a tiny amount and it works perfectly now.

I will just elaborate a little more on what Loyer has said... I is the little stepped part on front left corner of the magazine follower that activates the slide stop... Put the empty magazine in the gun and pull the slide back, you should see the ear on the follower engage the tab of the slide stop that protrudes into the magazine well... If it doesn't or isn't engaging much you have found your problem... You can usually "tweak" the ear out with a pair of needle nose pliers...

Made it to the range today, yep its the thumb...slight adjustment of my shooting grip everything worked perfect mag after mag.

Thanks everyone....I'm going to go feel stupid by myself now. :D
