Gun range in Toronto?

Silverdale might still have guest passes on weekends for $20 but don't quote me.

Hell the membership for the rest of the year is probably only like $80 bucks or less since we only have 5 months left so if you go 4+ times its paid for.

Sounds like a stupid Idea, but what about taking GO Transit to Burlington and a cab to range Burlington? It's like 5 km from stn to range.

Not sure about the ranges in K-W area, so I can't say how much a cab would cost.

Unfortunately in TO, space is a premium and guns are not welcome, so it's hard to find somewhere to shoot locally.

I noticed your current location is the Soo, do you belong to a club there?

E-Mails to Silverdale can take a while. Why not just call? I know Seth is in the shop since its Sunday...

I am a member at silverdale. You can come Saturday or Sunday for twenty bucks a day and shoot to your hearts content. 100 and 200 meter ranges. Anything more and you are probably looking at joining the ORA.

From what I hear the military ranges the ORA uses are full of mean old grumpy elitists.. But don't take my word on that, its only what I've heard.

If you live on the east end of TO, you might want to consider the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club. I love, the range out to 300 yards. The members there are awesome. Everyone is very helpful and everyone is willing to let you shoot their fun stuff. A very CGN, newbie and family friendly place. I drive out there, but you could take the GO to Oshawa, then bus to the north end of town, then a short cab ride to the range. Or give me a PM and we can arrange a drive out some weekend I'm in town. Carpooling kicks ass.

blah, i've called Oshawa, and sharons, and both said that they do not allow non-members to go and shoot...

Is there nowhere near to with a range that will allow non-members to go shooting??
