I have some work that needs to be one on my 10/22 magnum and I am wanting to take it to a gun smith.

Are there any in Medicine Hat?
 
I tried my luck at The Outdoors Man. The fellow that answered the phone mentioned that they have a gunsmith but was confused when I mentioned that I wanted my 10/22 action bedded.

I will await his call to see if he will do it.

Not in Alberta, but a shorter drive than Calgary, unless there is someone in Lethbridge.

Amazing work...oh really????

Bought a Savage 11FS off them while antelope hunting 2 years ago. The magazine feed rails are NFG. The bolt passes the .22-250 cartridges completely when cycling. Its now basically a single shot. Took it down when my cypress hills elk meat was done at the butcher shop(Im from Bonnyville). When I picked it up on my way home I was told that I just wasnt cycling the bolt aggressively enough and the guns just fine. I thought that was bull#### and when at home I discovered that I was correct. STILL A SINGLE SHOT :mad: . I would strongly suggest taking your projects elsewhere.
