New to this CGN. I have a Thompson Center gun I want to sell but am not sure how to use the CGN site. If anyone can help please let me know what to do. I have visited different forums but can't get it through my drug induced head how to do it. I'm disabled and cannot use guns that have recoil. This gun has never been used other than having it sighted in. I have an Encore 209 x 250 with 26" blackpowder barrel, 20" Katahdin, ported blackpowder barrel , and 25-06 barrel. Also have both walnut stocks and the new thumbhole flextech stock. I waited many years to get this gun in Canada and then had an accident which broke my back twice and also my neck, thus the inability to shoot guns with recoil. I still hope to hunt so will add a varmint gun to my vault and try that. Cannot walk any distance so I have to use a small atv to get around. I think varmint shooting will fit the bill since I could use the atv in fields etc.
Let me know what to do to get this equipment posted in the right place.
Thanks and shoot safe!!

Welcome aboard! :D
Sorry to hear about your back...
Barry's Bay is a beautiful area.
Maybe a .22Mag to start the varminting off with, and then maybe move up to a small centre fire.
Again, welcome!

Have owned literally hundreds of guns. Sold off all my varmint rifles because the area I was living in banned centrefire varmint rifles. I now live in Barry's Bay because I cannot drive very far and my hunt camp is just down the road. Because I cannot fire heavy recoil guns anymore I am now looking for a varmint rifle to get back into pest destruction for farmers. Still have a vault with about 20 guns but if I cannot use them I might as well sell them. Health is such that cleaning guns is no longer as much fun as it used to be, so I am now looking in another direction. Will probably go back to a .223 or 22-250, most likely single shot, since I have always been a single shot fan. If you can't do it with one bullet, might as well buy a " gatling gun".
The T/C was a dream gun for me but it is a very frustrating gun to own in Canada because of the lack of availability of barrels and accessories. Have about $2500 invested in this gun and never got to use it because of the accident. Have had to go to a mini thirty for whitetail because it has the least recoil, but I see it as a very marginal gun.( my opinion only )
Thanks for your thoughts. They will have to shoot me to keep me down completely, but ,yes, I do have to make some concessions. One shot with recoil could leave me a quadriplegic, so I have to think of the wife.
As a former rescue pilot, and police pilot, and commercial diver, I am a chance taker, maybe an adrenaline junkie, but I now have to minimize the risk in order to keep going.
May even buy a varmint gun today just to feel better! Should make the wife happy, don't you think!
Cheers
Fred

Welcome. I've been to Barry's Bay a few times. I love it there. My grandparents used to own a trailer right by BB. I forget the town, it starts with a C and a tornado went through there a short while ago.
