Guns you have always wanted but not necessarily needed

What are the guns you’ve always wanted for whatever reason, but need doesn’t have to be one those reasons.

I’ll start.

First, I’ve always wanted a Browning Citori 20g o/u. I don’t shoot skeet or clays and don’t seem to hunt grouse anymore, so I would probably hardly use it. But I’ve always wanted one and I can’t shake the desire to have one. I’ve owned a couple cheaper o/u’s but they just don’t feel like quality to me.

Second, is a Mannlicher Schoenauer in 6.5x54MS. A guy I know showed me one just over 20yrs ago. Full length stock, double set triggers. It was so sleek and smooth cycling. I’ve wanted one ever since.

The problem is every time these two guns come up for sale, I don’t actually need them so I can’t justify the cost. But, I struggle with it every time I see them for sale:)

This very gun, had the cash in my pocket and was holding one in Cabelas, bore was a tad dark and the stock had seen better days for what they wanted though. Still always drift back to one of those little guns, but I'd prefer it in 7x57 Mauser.

Lee Speed in good shape is a very close second

Lol, I could more than likely live the rest of my life with only my rem 700 in 308 and not be sacrificing anything other than the joys of a collector (and maybe a few birds.) That doesn't prevent me from ravenously scouring the interwebs to feed my addiction to consumerism. If I could have any firearm, legal in Canada, that I really don't need, it would an ATRS or equivalent, c7clone.

Edit* I would trade them all if someone could show me a "full+semi auto rifle" that is not select fire.

why not just start a "duh...why don't we just tell the liberals what to ban next ,cuz,um,duh, we don't need 'em for anything right guys ? duh..." thread .

i'm sure it would be a real hit .

there'd be no shortage of "duh... when are they gonna make this prohib?" or "oh hey.... i think they missed this one " threads

some of you are your own worst enemy

what's the something that can be destroyed by the truth of what ? do you even know wtf you're talking about ?

you just said nothing about anything in two sentences .

that's quite a skill

So is being willfully ignorant, which you've demonstrated twice now.

Let me put this in a way you will get. Your first post was ignorant of the fact, like trident said, that they can and will ban anything and everything they want at any time, and will do so eventually. Simply talking about guns and naming specific models will not get them on the chopping block any faster. They aren't that stupid and know what's out there already. Hancock simply told you that your ignorance does not serve you well, and he was trying to dispel it and enlighten you of the above fact. The fact that you didn't understand that displayed your second ignorance. Please note I'm not commenting on your intelligence in any way, just making what should be obvious to everyone more so.

For a good time with the guns I'd like but can't have, I go to gun ranges when in Vegas. Which isn't often enough.(50 BMG, Uzi, Tommy gun)

The ones I could get here would be the S&W 500, 50AE Desert Eagle, and a Rem 600 in 350 Rem. Mag.

At least with the Rem. 600, I could get without going broke, and actually have a practical use for.
