according to the Access, Dec.3 and 4 at Northlands Park....................any room at the REMBO LODGE :?:

there could be room at the Rembo Lodge....

it's about time there was a gunshow around here......I think I'll get a table.....time to thin the herd.......yes....again

there should be a show out in Warburg around this time...or did I miss it?......

Joe(103159)do you know anything about the Warburg show?

Yeah, Rembo's table will have a gun on it....unlike the other tables!!!!

A gun show in Edmonton? Don't you guys mean a "comic book and old army #### show"?

Maybe a $300 cooey Model 64B? Or a $200 Bell scope that doesnt focus?

Or one of the local nut cases, handing out pamphlets with Adolf Hitler on the front making comparisons to the Nazis etc.,......just what we need as a representative of our interests.

With all due respect to those who have, in the past, contributed appropriately to Edmonton gun shows, I would rather watch golf on TV than attend an Edmonton gunshow.

Ha! I was thinking the exact same thing.

I went to the last one at the sportex, there was everything from buckets of crappy pocket knives to overpriced garbage.. and of course "old army ####". The only thing I walked of there was a small bottle of anti-fog eyeglasses cleaner.

NEVER AGAIN! :p

I have'nt been to a Gunshow in Edmonton since they held them at The Golden Garter???,There was still a Nazi guy there,an Airborne(Whoowa  )fella and quite a few Bell scopes,I even saw a T/C one.P&D had a table as well as the owner/founder of Milarm..............MP Goldring(?) was there too.At the time I was look'n for 6.5 Carcano ammo,I found one round :x ,I'd go again, but is it worth the trip now(2hrs from Wainwright). We could have an informal Gunnutz meet & greet :?: Hell I'd do that,I'll even buy the coffee :D

Huntsman :)

now I know why I've never seen Randy at a gunshow

You are correct on most counts...over priced rifles that have been dragged to countless gunshows all over Western Canada for five years or more......it's simply amazing that guys will put a tag on a gun that's over new retail price and then carry it around for 5 years  I'm assuming these guys don't really want to sell thier precious rifles, just display them..after all it is a gun "show"..not a gun "sale" right? :?:
I can say that in 15 years I'm sure I've only ever bought one rifle at a gunshow, a nicely sporterized Remington built M17 for $200...not a "normal" gunshow purchase :?
Same goes for these guys with NOS bullets.....the boxes are getting ready to spill the contents but they're worth more than new bullets from P&D by golly

"$200 for a Bell scope"?....hey ,...they have a gold ring they have to be good,right?...or is that the Armsports

Rem,

I'll come to the gun show if you have a table.....like I said, it will be the only decent table there...... and I will buy coffee (from Tim's cause the only thing worse than an Edmonton Gun Show is Edmonton Gun Show coffee....... )

Randy if you go I'll go...but bring the little 22 that I sold you a couple of years ago...its time I got that one back.

If you set up a table Rembo, let us know. My experience with the gun shows are consistent with everybody elses. We recently had on in Ft Mc and prices were ridiculous at just about every table, Milrm was there and selling stuf at retail (OK) and one other guy had reasonable orices on some nice stuff. I've never seen som many older Sako deluxe rifles in the same place in my life, all over $1200, they were mostly in the same price range you can buy a new 75 for.

I know I'd rather have a pristine L or A series Sako Deluxe than a 75 for the same price :D

I'll let you guys know if I get a table. Just stop by for a chat, no sales pressure, I'll leave the checkered car salesman jacket at home

Rembo do you think there will be enough room at your table for some of my stuff?....or should we get a two..or three tables

book the whole place buddy :D ....if'n your gonna bring more than half of your "collection" :D

I thought you were out looking for Bambi's old man?

I might have a float and bed job for ya...we'll see how she shoots "as is" first  ...trigger is at 3#, all cleaned up, bore is squeaky clean....and we're loadin' ammo as we type,..so to speak.
