GUNSMITH / Adjustable comb

I have heard that there is someone near Dunnville / Fort Erie, but I have had work done by Mark Deprez south of Rochester NY. He has a reputation for the high quality of his work. He deserves it. His phone number is 585-346-2425

CGN'er "Smoji" just did mine for me. He's around Elgin someplace. He did great work, he was up front and honest with the original quote, and he was fast.

I highly recommend him.

I'll be using the gun in competition this weekend, so I won't have time to fool with cameras. But, if you'd like, I can take some close up images of this work next week.

Local

Vic T. has an add at the hamilton gun club and does excellent stock work. I know he shoots out of the waterdown rod and gun club.

Adjustable Combs

I just got 2 of my shotguns back from Vic yesterday. $175.00 per gun excellent workmanship and he had them done in 3 days. Can't wait to shoot them

I second this one. I have had several stocks repaired and refinished by Smoji, and he is an absolute magician with wood. I have never had an adjustable stock kit installed, but I have seen his own personal gun that he did and I would not hesitate to have it done by him.

I don't know if the op is interested, but I am, when you have time.

I just had an adj. comb done on my Citori by George Wortner of wortner gun works in Chatham, did an amazing job, the downside was the turnaround time, hes so back logged that you may not have your gun for a few months. i am not complaining aobut that though after seeing the job he did

Vic T is an adjustable comb genius. I sent him my K-80 stock, and he had it back to me in about ten days. This was over the Christmas holidays which made it even more remarkable. Cost was $185 plus shipping.

The workmanship is impeccable; I couldn't be happier and highly recommend him.

I'll apologise in advance for these photos. I'd have preferred to shoot them in natural light, but I can't seem to find any free time during the ridiculously short daylight hours right now.

I should mention that Smoji was meticulous about making sure he understood what I wanted and he delivered exactly what I asked for. There are a couple of small nicks in the comb section - those were a result of constantly readjusting the comb and the LOP so that my daughter and I could share the same gun in competition (her new custom gun solved that problem). All of the parts were free of scratches, dings, cracks or nicks when I got the gun back.

Also, he quoted precise prices prior to my placing my order, and he delivered as promised, on time and on budget.

Straightshooter,
Thanks for taking the time to post those pics. You must be a perfectionist, because there is no need to apologize for the pic quality. Smoji, does very nice work.
