I have a BRNO ZH in 7x57r over 12g, I have a couple of trap/skeet 12g barrel sets that I would like to get fit to the gun (they're all too tight)
It's an unusual action that apparently isn't all that difficult to fit barrels to if you're trained to do it (that's the kicker).

Here's a description of the action:
These guns have a moveable breech block that is cammed back approx 1", against two coil springs by the lower portion of the monoblock when the gun is opened. The breech block carries a Kersten type locking system; there is a cut in the bottom of the monoblock that engages a type of lug in the lower part of the breechblock. The gun locks top and bottom.

Anyone have reccomendations on who might be well suited to contact about fitting the barrels? (I've emailed tradeex since they actually sell barrels and complete versions of this gun)

Welp, Trade-Ex was a good place to start, hopefully they have a contact to share.
Rob

They got back to me and recommended Jason at Gunco. No email and closed today, so hopefully i have something to report back tomorrow. He has a 4.9 out of 5 with 59 reviews on google, seems like a promising start!

What do you means by "all too tight"? Are you able to seat the skeet barrels on the hinge pin? To do this requires some finesse...

One 12g/12g barrel set is way harder to slip onto the receiver/hinge pin than the other two barrel sets (takes a few minutes of trying to slip it on at the perfect angle to even get it on there at all), and neither that barrel set or the other 12g/12g barrel set will start to engage the locking mechanism when you close it. Just the 7x57r/12g barrel fits on relatively easily and locks up at all. I'm assuming it's simple fitting, but I know very little about o/u's and it's a pretty weird action as far as o/u's go.

I'm assuming it's easier to make a gun looser than to make it tighter.

I had the same problem with my 12 over 12. The 7x57/12 guage was easy.
Measure the slip in portion of the 12/12 and it was bent. I had bought both together and the 12/12 must have fallen at some time in the past. It looked new.
Took it to a gunsmith who confirmed that it needed a little adjustment. Which he did as well as polished the contact metal.
Work great now.

I owned several and a good friend since moved back to the US fit barrels for me.

Believe London Arms in Ontario was the Canadian Importer so may want to check with them for a referral.

That's an astute observation! Lol...
