My dad passed away a few years ago and I got his Remington Model 11 autoloading shotgun (Remington copy of the Browning Auto 5).
It's a neat old rig with a factory fitted oak case and it came with 2 fixed choke barrels (modified and skeet). It was hunted quite a bit so there is some blueing loss and a little bit of surface pitting on the receiver but it has a lot of sentimental value to me and I would like to get it restored to as good a condition as possible. i may never use it but even if I don't it would make a nice keepsake from his grandfather for my son when I go.
Can anyone recommend an Ontario gunsmith who could do a nice blueing job on this gun? Any personal experience input would be appreciated.
