well, you can polish the contact surfaces, and put in a lighter spring from Wolff. They are cheap and the polishing is free.
don't actually stone or file off anything as the metal is case hardened and you can go thru, and then its effed. Polish with a buffer wheel and metal polish. I used a cloth polishing wheel on my dremel and spent about half an hour or so on each surface. that combined with really good cleaning and the spring has really sharpened things up. Many people have commented on it in a positive way.
its easy, all in, I am probably into it for about an hour and I had never even taken the lower off before.
now, failing that, Brimstone Gunsmithing in Washington State does an excellent job and their service is good too, with more than fair prices. Many many people have had 10/22 triggers done there and for a bit now they have been doing AR triggers as well.
