Hey everyone,
I've never posted anything in this thread, but I've lurked for some time, and I have never seen anyone ask this question, so here it goes.
I've come to the point in my life where I am expected to point myself in a direction for a career path. Being around firearms for the majority of my life, I have been exposed to routine maintenance of firearms, even today, this is one of my favorite parts about going shooting.
I love coming home after a long day on the range or out in the field and disassembling my firearm and scrubbing it clean, I just really enjoy all the intricate parts. That being said I would be interested in a career as a gunsmith, I am not aware if this is a realistic choice for a person of my age or if it's an "old mans" game.
I live in the Ontario area, but in the next month I will be moving to Calgary, Alberta.
Any information will be useful, if there are any gunsmiths here I would love to hear your input, feel free to message me.
