Gunsmith wanted in Fraser valley

http://www.rustywood.ca/contact.html They specialize in what they call "Cowboy Gun's" but should be qualified for a shotgun issue.

http://www.chilliwackdart.com/boltaction They might know of someone who you can contact or they might have someone on staff to help.

http://www.canadianprecision.ca Specializes in rem 700 work but might be able to help.

http://www.hical.ca/apps/contactme/sites/show Hi Cal might know someone for you as well.

Otherwise you're going to have to drive into town, Reliable Gun has some good guys on staff...but if you're in Maple Ridge check with Wanstalls to see if they can help or guide you in the right direction.

...called Yarrow today...spoke to Gord, he said he stopped doing gunsmithing and now just teaches and buys/sells firearms. He hasn't updated his website but will be doing so shortly to reflect that he is no longer in the gunsmithing business...

 my pleasure....valley boys gotta help each other out don't ya know ;)

In that case I'd suggest Rusty Wood Trading in Mission. He's got a smaller backlog than the other popular smiths in the area so you'll get your gun back sooner.

I would be careful when dealing with Rusty Wood. Especially with your CC #.
He started off with being an OK fella so I bought some supplies and even a Uberti 73. I called to order 2k of pistol brass and gave my CC #. He said that he would have to back order it so I cancelled the order. Six months later guess what showed up at my door. I didn't mind the mistake, anyone can make one, but when I called and he turned on a very pissy attitude and said "what do you expect me to do about it". I sent an e-mail stating I wasn't doing business with him any more due to his service and especially his attitude. His response was "f..k you.
I guess that I could have just returned it and informed the CC company but I just sold it off instead. Took a bit of loss as I found that I could have got it at Murray Charlton's at a better price.
I don't like to talk bad about anyone but this guy is supposed to be a business man and this is just bad business. I now deal with more reputable dealers.

Thanks
