Gunsmith?

I know I could go online and take a chance, but could anyone recommend a good gunsmith in the Calgary area?

Didnt see your post a month ago, but now that its btt, i have had work done by #### Pietsch 403-282-7354, located close to the U of C. I was happy with the work he did for me and know of others who were pleased with him as well. Hope this helps

#### Pietch did a number on me about 10 years ago, I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. Another bad experience I've had was with Twisters Gunshop, stay away from him, he will do nothing but cost you more money when you actually find a gunsmith to replace what he has damaged.

On another vein, I've had very good luck with Stephan at TSE, working on a couple of my 1911's and I'm currently having a rifle rebarrelled at Alberta Tactical Rifle so the vote is still open on them. I'll know better when the rifle has been finished.

By the way their is a thread on good gunsmiths on this site, you just have to look for the sticky!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience there as mine was quite positive. I also know that #### built and serviced tactical sniper rifles for years too.
 
I am trying to purchase a firearm new/used (8/10 if used)

im looking to purchase a firearm and my friend gave me this site said he bought one off here but i havent been able find anything any suggestions?

what you are looking for is the equipment exchange. go to the list of EE forums. at the top of the list you will find a large link that says this "Click Here to Apply for Access to Equipment Exchange Forums ". click on that link and start reading the rules and regs. you must seek permission to view and participate on the EE.
