Hi,

just bought a Beretta 92 FS Inox. I bought new sights and springs for it.
Can't wait to get it BUT... I'd like a longer barrel.

1- Does someone sell barrels for it ? I went to the Beretta forum and in the USA, it's not a problem but no one seems to be selling in Canada. Tried Questar for EFK barrels. They can't import Beretta models.

My ultimate goal is to simply add a bit more accuracy to it (bulleye shooting - No IPSC and stuff). Maybe a compensator. Wrote to Gunnar and he's ready to work on the gun but has no parts for it.

2- can I send a gun over the border to have it modified ? Something like this guy Wal's bushings
http://http://berettaforum.net/vb/showthread.php?t=46034 ?

Anyway, what's out there for us Canadians who own Beretta 92s?

Thanks !

Just a thought for you. A longer barrel doesn't make a semi auto more accurate. What is needed is that a good barrel be fitted very well to the slide. How it fits the slide is far more important to accuracy than the length.

But that still leaves you high and dry as far as Canada goes. You've already found out that no one imports match barrels that can be custom fitted.

I can't believe there are no parts for this gun.

I have 1911s so parts are all over the place. I just can't understand why noone imports parts for it since it's not a niche gun. Beretta sells tons of these...

I hear ya on that!

I really like mine. But since I'm using it for regular target shooting and some speed related competition it shoots fine for accuracy as it is. So I really don't need a better barrel. Hell, it shoots nice in stock form. Might be nice to have some trigger upgrade parts though.
