Guy kills grizzly with arrow

Everyone needs to post soemthing on the CBC forum as it is filling up with anti's some of them saying they wished the Grizzley won.

Lets not let the rest of Canada think we are going to sit back and take this BS.
 
I dont understand why people get so upset over hunting, i know that there is no logic behind their thoughts but still it pains me to read comments on articles like this. Animal products are a part of our society they always have been, from food to clothes shoes etc. this fact is not going to change. When will people get it that the animals us hunters harvest get a much quicker and less traumatic death than any livestock that goes to the slaughter house. it also pissed me off when everyone craps on us but as soon as we say anythinng back we get labeled as gun toting lunatics. AARGH!!

However ban hunting, spare bambi even if it gets the mange.

I never read past the ending of the article. Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one and they usually stink.
 
according to the book, in the very end panel, he has little knobs growing out of his head- the followup book he does the thing with felina( strange name for a deer- it's something to do with cats) and becomes "king of the forest" -none of this is in the movie- you don't often see bambi 2 or wahtever it's called in the library- in the end he goes crazy

I would like to think most Canadians are sensible about hunting.
Congrats on saving you're skin with the arrow by the way. I'm sure a large knife would have been better if it were handy.:D

Not too many hunters would react so quickly with the fear factor set in.:eek:

As far as the anti hunters are concerned, they live in a different world, full of concrete, subway trains and a walk in the park for them types is a big outdoor experience when they see a squirrel gathering nuts. They have no idea of the prep work and cost of hunting , and with it all, the contribution to society.

Hunting is one of the greatest achievements a man can do, to bring himself back to nature and reality, as we have done for many thousands of years.

The anti hunter is a new age breed and prolly wont last for long.:cool:
 
Where does the article say that the grizzly died???? :rolleyes:
It says:
"His buddies got him back to camp, where he collapsed in shock. They launched a search for the wounded bear, but she was never found."
So, the bear took off running.
Maybe the guy stuffed the arrow in the wrong end. :D
