I need to get rid of this and have no idea what it is worth. There are 17 sealed boxes left. Any help would be helpful. It is 6.5/55 swed. I am located in Aylmer Ont

Since surplus 6.5 isn't very common anymore, and commercial ammo runs $1/round or more, you have a ballpark figure.

While you may not want to be mercenary about the pricing, you're probably cheating yourself asking less than $.60/round.

It's Model 41 ammo, 139-grain spitzer BT Ball type, packed in Model 1894 chargers (clips), so the chargers alone are a bit of a bonus. Not many of them running about these days.
.

I've got about 10 boxes of 1976 production myself for days when my sweet '96 and I go out.

My boxes are identical to yours but the cartridges do not come on clips at all.

LOL; the lowball guys will be dismayed, but I paid 60.00 a box for two boxes of Hornady in Cowtown last year. The local shop doesn't really get that sorta thing in much... and WS sports had nothing but High Dollar stuff.
I'd be a little leary at letting it go too cheaply; might be short changing yourself.

buy a rifle, shoot it off and have fun, put the rifle back in the EE

then of course brag your a$$ off about the fun you had shooting your surplus ammo off
