My crony crapped out, I am using 75 gr H-1000 with 210 gr berger out of a 26 inch barrel any idea what the FPS would be.
 
We can all guess, but if your doing long range shooting or hunting. You know the number's need to be better than a guess.
Before I re-barreled my .300wm to a 28" , I was getting 2750fps with a 26" pac-nor loaded with 71.5gr's of H-1000 & a 215gr Berger Hybrid. I'm now getting 2975fps with a 28" Pac-Nor
loaded with 75.5gr's of H-1000 & a 215gr Hybrid. Maybe a buddy or someone at the range would lend you a chrony that you could run a few round's through till you can get another......

Calculate it backwards from shooting a known distance and measuring your drop. Change the velocity numbers in your ballistic calculator until the drops match. No questionable data needed.
 
Thanks Shooter, i wil have to try that. For I don't see to many guys with cronies at the range to borrow one. or at least when i am there. RL -300 just curious will 1-10 twist work for the 215 gr berger.
 
My recipe is 75.7gr H1000 COAL 3.573" Berger 210VLD. Rem 700 sendero 300wm 26". 400M elev. My chrony(F1) tells me 2875fps, but A.B. app works it out to 2915fps with the drop data that I observed. Hope it helps.
