H and R 20g Tamer - price check

There are a couple of .410 Tamers on the EE right now for $350 each, which I think is a little high, but they show up on the exchange every now and then for $175-300 depending on the time of year and how many are on the market. I think the 20 ga is by far the better choice.

I have one that I bought for my youngest son a few years ago (2010-ish) and paid $150 new but those days are in the past...

Thanks mudgunner49.
I picked one up a few years back as well when prices were on the lower side. As you say it does seem that prices have now increased on these, like everything else, and of course will depend on the market at the time. I like them, they are nice little shotguns and well made in my opinion. It's a shame they are no longer produced.

A shame indeed - I have a blued 26" 20 ga barrel that I picked up some time back that was a drop-in fit on my NEF .45-70... I'd like to get it chopped to 22" and threaded for Rem-Choke so it fits in the same take-down case as the rifle...
