You could go to the Heckler & Koch factory retail store. I think it is just outside of Markham someplace, can anybody give a better direction?

Or go to the HK civilian retail rep for Canada's web site and order direct.

The last 416 I saw sold here retailed for $1,195 Can. But that only came with 1 HK stainless mags, and I think any additional HK 556 mags went for around $30.

Apparently that store had a couple of the HK 417s in, the 7.62 version. They were going for a bit more at $1250ish.

I personally don't think they are worth that kind of money, but that's what keeps thing interesting. Different strokes.

I thought 416 wasn't gonna be available to civilians? It is now? I mean from what I've read in AR15.com, Americans don't even have it yet. To think that we can get one in Canada, 7.62 to boot!
 
Currently 25 police teams have requested the 416 demo-guns, they only have 4 demo guns (RNicholls), they also have one 417 but it is not the final production version, as for getting one in civilian hands - unlikely as H&K in Germany decides who gets them & they are not currently made in the states thus making them only available as LE/MIL guns, the last resale I saw was on AR15.com and the upper sold for $6500US - I may want one but not that desparately.
