Which is to say that while you can't have it, grandfathered individuals can still legally possess a grandfathered rifle. At home. Unloaded.
 
There was a $hitload of Iranian G3's on the market in the late 80's back when I should have bought an original AR-10.................had a FNFAL and sold it....Harold
 
I own an HK-G3. Wonderful piece of machinery. Maybe after C-301 passes, I'll be allowed to take the sum##### out to the range and actually try it out....
I fought the SQ for 5-6 yrs with the help of the Lower Canada Semi-Auto Collectors Ass. The SQ wanted to destroy my G3 when I applied to transfer it to myself (just bought from another GunNut).

I now own the damn thing and dunno if it'll even shoot straight. I hate the bastards.....

I didn't know you couldn't transport a prohib. So all you can do with your prohibs is keep them at home? What happens if you move?
 
In this great and sensible country? Lucky SOB's we are, we get to bring 'em along with us. Only way a prohib rifle leaves my house is during a move or a trip to a gunsmith.
Can you freakin' believe that? The dumbass powers that be will issue me a short-term ATT to transport my prohib rifle to the gunsmith for a goddamn ed problem I couldn't possibly know I have because I'm not allowed to shoot it anywhere. WTF???

You have to take courses in stoopid to pass laws like these...
 
when i bought my hk91 about 6 years ago, the guy had a pair of them. i made my choice from the 2 for 1200 buck with accessories.then he offered me the second for another 800. unfortunately, i couldn't do the 2 of them. what a deal considering the dewats are selling for more then that.

Why does not someone open a "gunsmith" at a range?
Unless there is a specific restriction against that on the prohib ATT?
