Was wondering if anyone knew where this rifle fell, restricted or prohibited?

Most likely restricted, but possibly non-restricted. Definately not prohibited.

MR762 (or MR308) is based off of the HK417, which is based off of the HK 416, which is based off of the AR15, thusly restricted.

The only way to market it is to design it from the ground up as something completely incompatible with any AR15 or AR10 parts, and even then they may make it restricted based off of looks (GSG5 anyone?)
