I just got one myself and I am liking it. Been doing a little experimenting different loads, different weight of bullets, etc. Its a 1:7 Twist and have the best luck with 69 grainers at max load of Varget. I have it down to 1" MOA 100 yards which is still not what this rifle is capable of.

What have you found?

Any body else want to chime in on good loads for this rifle? Feel free!!

Question, does the sl8-5 take the g36 (double stack mags) right out the box ? I heard the mag well does not need modification on this variant, thanks !

I shoot 77 grain sierra's HPBT match, with 23 grains of n-140. Very accurate, I am now trying out the same bullet over 21.5 grains of n-530.. still working on it but looks good so far

I think you are right, however G36 mags are pretty tough to find. Better off picking up some Spear mags from Wolverine for a lot less cash.

I have had good results using 69gr SMK's over varget and also had good results with hornady 75gr steel match. Surprisingly Winchester white box 45gr HP shoot well too.

What kind of velocities? How big is the MOA?
