Oh boy - you've opened a can of worms here my friend. All the pistols you mentioned are good. All have their fans and their detractors.....

In terms of reliability, few companies can match HK's engineering and quality control. USP's accuracy is also top notch. But when it comes to ergonomics and the way a gun fits one's hands, the 1911 wins out.

If you want an .45 caliber HK with ergonomics that rival those of the 1911, get the HK45.

1911 for feel. But the USP is accurate and very high quality. ( I have had both)
