H & K USP 9 mm… Price check

I was quoted 1499.00 today… I have not looked and I'm so freaking tired because I've been working too much, doesn't that seem high? It's the one with the nice trigger.
Maybe I'm wrong… What's a real fair price on these brand-new?
thanks guys

At that price I would guess its the USP tactical or compact. It seems a bit high for the regular model, check on EE you can find them for under 1000$ regularly.

Yeah, double-check what they mean by "law enforcement" because HK does not market the USP itself as "law enforcement."

The price is right for a tactical.

It could also be a USP with a LEM trigger (Law Enforcement Model). If it is a standard USP with an LEM trigger, then the price is kinda high. I suppose it could be a Custom Sport or Tactical with an LEM trigger, but the Custom Sport and Tactical come with a match trigger (different from LEM) so I guess the price would also be good if this is the configuration. I just don't know why you would take a match trigger out of CS/Tactical to replace it with an LEM when you could achieve the same end result from a standard USP.

if you want the one with nice trigger, that is the tactical version. Adjustable sights and match trigger.

there are 3 version of USP, 1 is 45 acp only, the other 2 can be 9-40-45

The only one with match trigger is the tactical...

The other two, have been named compact and compact tactical. Compact tactical is 45 only.

It is way too high for the standard model. If it is a "tactical" it might be right price. But, I don't think it is a good value at $1500 (unless you are a HK collector).

A new USP9 should be ~$1050 dollars.

I don't think there are any "compact" models in Canada. Just "compact tactical" as far as I know.

There is a HK P8 that has been on the EE since early Nov.
I think he is high at $1100. What's the going rate on those. Does have some minor wear from the pics.

I paid $975 + tax for my USP 40 a couple years ago. Best money I ever spent - love that pistol! Long DA pull, but SA is decent. There are many upgraded models to the USP, but I'm not sure the premium is worth it. Up to you guys to decide. Tactical models are expensive.

$915 US for base model at site sponsor Irunguns:

Thanks guys… Yes it is the Tactical with the LEM trigger…

If you're able to obtain an LEM trigger kit you could make the same gun for less by buying a standard USP. The only difference is the Tactical will have adjustable sights, raised sights and a threaded barrel. If having these features is desirable and you don't want to do the LEM conversion yourself, then yeah its a decent deal, otherwise not really.

Wow! Thank you, that changes the game!
I don't need adj sights or threaded barrel.
Happy New Year, bro!

I was wondering what the difference between the USP Tactical and the USP9 Expert... here is the specs on the Expert:

For sure the Expert has a longer barrel...5.2" I think. Other that that I think they may have the same match triggers...and while both have adjustable sights, I think the Tactical's are taller to accommodate suppressor use. I've owned an Expert in .45 and one in 9mm. The 9mm was crazy accurate and super easy to shoot. Irungun's price seems quite good for an Expert.

I think Irungun's price is pretty good for that premium pistol... too bad the exchange rate has gone up for us or I'd be considering that Expert.
