H&R Buffalo Classic

I just ordered a H&R Buffalo Classic in 45/70 with a 32" barrel, what do you guys think of this gun? Anyone shot one or owned one?Thanks.

I like mine.I'd like it even more if it had an octagon barrel

I'm not thrilled with the factory sights,but it's accurate and comfortable for me to shoot.

Does it come with a plastic trigger guard?

I don't think it's plastic...some kind of cheap pot metal maybe...it sounds metallic when I tap it,but who knows...might be plastic...

I shoot lite loads with 4759 and 500 gr cast bullets.

come to think of it I remember reading that they are plastic and that a steel replacement is available...
