H&R model 258 handy gun II

just picked this rifle this morning and it has see-thru rings that I know are not for the rifle and I checked on weaver's web site they have nothing for it, it is drilled and tapped for scope but only 3 holes, anybody have a rifle like this with scope mounted, what did you use?

I think the standard 3-hole H&R weaver rail will fit on that rifle and then use whichever rings you like. I usually use Burris rings for my scopes.

Try looking for the handi rifle base and compare hole spacing.

Isn't it a 158? Weaver base on mine same as the one for the SA .22 Browning.

It is the standard H&R Weaver base.

There are also a couple aftermarket one piece mounts made by DNZ and DuraSight... I prefer the Durasight Z2 base.
