I am looking for some info an H&R Model 865 "Plainsman" 22 LR.
I was asked to clean it for someone that found it in a couch at a run down out building at his family cottage, all soaking wet. There is some rust on the barrel but the bore seems fine and I took it out and it shoots well.
I'm curious what the value might be on something like this. also what the manufacturing date is with the serial number 23183.
