H & R semi disassembly

a friend acquired a h&r semi auto does anyone have experience dissembling one of these after removing the action screws the stock won't separate from the action there's lots of play
and i cant see whats holding it together

Another thread started with a lot of non-useful information! H&R semi-auto WHAT? Calibre and Model information possibly found on the barrel would be VERY helpful, and pictures even more so.

Due to the local snow fall, my Crystal Ball is not working properly so I can not even take a guess at what you have!
