A good friend of mine just got an H&R Sportsman 22LR. Its the model with the non vent rib barrel and its a 9 shot single action. I belive then that it is a 199.

The pistol is in good condition with little wear on the bluing. All the edges are still nice and true and it checks out when cycling and lock up and the hammer is pretty good too. Doesnt look like it had too much use or it was well cared for.
We shot it at the range and grouping was very decent with a crisp trigger
and it loads and unloads perfectly.

I really liked this gun and i am planning on making a trade for it.
Ive searched around a bit and havent come up with a lot of info about
values etc. Does anyone know what these pistols are worth?

ARE THERE PARTS OUT THERE FOR THEM?

He wants a field gun so a was going to swap my 23/4 chamber wingmaster which is in beautiful condition with very nice walnut on it with a 26 inch express barrel. Would this be a good deal?

Its definatly a cool little pistol i just want to make sure im not gonna loose out here. It shot well when i used it just want to be able to keep shooting without worry....Hope someone can help
Thanks

I've got one, nice little revolver, shoots as well as I do. Most at auction go for $125.-150. I think H&R are under rated,, but I've got several of them and Iver Johnsen's, they are dependable and fun.

I also have the 999 and as for parts, e-gunparts.com (Numrich Arms) in the states claims to have a supply. Just a word of caution. Excessive dry fire on these models will damage the cylinder rim.

The pistol seems to shoot out of this world and checks out real good.
I want this gun just am not sure if its worth my 870. Need to be sure
there are parts out there if something happens in the future.
Are the 199 and 999 universal parts wise?
Definatly agreee H&R is under rated. I know they seem to go cheap but most of those are in the US...What would one be worth to you..?
Ive got a lot in the 870 but sadly see wingmaster going for very little these days. I dont use it much anymore and its a real looker...Anyone have anthing to trade? 9mm etc..

u may want to go to the e-gun website and see if parts are interchangable.
Like it was stated above, there is not a high demand for these. I would be surprised to see one selling for over $150, well I would be more surprised if anybody paid over $150 for one...

H&R 9 shot .22 wheelgun...

Had one... was a double action. Brutal double action, not too bad on single action. Made a decent plinker. Nice to have the nine shot cylinder, too. Kinda wish I'd kept mine...
