H&R survior .410/45colt

I was looking at the new H&R catalog and saw the .410/45 colt "survior" rifle and wondered how well they would work.

I was thinking it would make a nice grouse/close range deer rifle, just wondered how the beed front sight would work.

Anyone out there have a opinion they would like to share?
 
From what I have heard it is pretty much a dud, the shotgun is OK but there are 2 major problems in colt mode the jump to the riflings is way too long and it is hard to hit anything with the bead sight. you would be better of with you plain old 12 gauge and shoot slugs for deer.
