Pictures are too small to tell much and no detailed description was given to condition. However a fair amount of rust can be seen in one pic. It has twist barrels so in this country without knowing more I would say around $300.00 or less.

sorry pics were loaded off my phone IMG_0219.jpgIMG_0217.jpgIMG_0221.jpg
any idea of the year? condition is poor, under the break action it has been brazed, curious about the year? the twist in the barrels is cause they used "rolled steel" the barrel is not a solid piece of steel, it wasnt taken care of and was left in a basement for 25+ years in the corner, i can only get one side to ####, the other side is horribly stiff,

If we had pics of the barrel flats the year it was made could maybe be narrowed down. It was not a high value gun as it has twist barrels as opposed to higher quality damascus. From your latest description, the value is no more than wall hanger status so it depends on how much you want to spend on a decoration. Usually around $150.00 for a nice wall hanger, even less for a poor condition hanger.

So ive done some research and crescent arms were not the maker of this gun, the maker is H.S CO BOSTON, i can not tell or find anything on this gun! IMG_0507.jpg

As you can see theres a pentagram marked in there at the top, the serial number is 19836, looks to be a 30 stamped on there as well,

What research did you find that says the H.S. Co. Boston actually made firearms? I have to agree that it is a gun that was made by another firm for the H.S. Co. Boston store. There were over 1000 of various store branded guns made by other companies back in the day. If the H.S. Boston Co. was an actual US firearms maker, there would be information on the net about them. As another note, are there any proof marks on the underside of the barrels?

Here is where your shotgun was made. This is just a partial list as I quit the list at your shotgun brand. This is from the net.

For anyone asking about one of these brands - They are Crescent/Folsoms, a mostly very inexpensive line of shotguns produced from about 1890 to 1930. The most common are Crescents, a sidelock SxS which may be stamped with any of 100 plus "Hardware Store" brand names. Even if serviceable they will at least will require constant attention, being both built to a very low price point and made back when labor was cheap and shooters were expected to have their guns serviced, cleaned and tightened up by a gunsmith every year. Earlier ones are damascus/laminated and the usual precautions apply.

From bferg, at answers.yahoo.com
Crescent Firearms Company and H.& D. Folsom guns. From 1888 to 1899, Crescent made shotguns on its own. Sometime around 1900, the company merged with N.R. Davis and H.& D. Folsom, becoming Crescent- Davis. Crescent made shotguns for many, many companies under many names.
H.& D. Folsom was located at 312-14 Broadway, New York, N.Y., and imported and distributed firearms from about 1890 to 1930. At some point they merged with Crescent-Davis, and were finally sold in 1954 to Universal Tackle and Sporting Goods Co. Far from complete, the following list includes brand and trade names of Crescent-made and Folsom-imported shotguns:. These firearms which are sometime called "Hardware Guns" are considered to be the most prolific of all manufacturers of private label guns. Almost all the remaining specimens today are priced as shooters and have no collector value. Followed is a list of names manufactured by Crescent Firearms:

Crescent operated from 1893 to 1930. There doesn't seem to be any source to pinpoint dates of manufacture by serial numbers. Crescent was a subsidiary of H&D Folsom Sporting Goods, New York. Many of their products were sold through Folsom's retail outlets, but Folsom was also a large wholesale dealer and many Crescent guns were marked with the names or trademarks of other retail chains and even independent hardware stores. Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co, Chicago (1882-1962), retailed the Victor shotguns which were manufactured by Crescent Arms, Norwich, CT (1893-1930).
its not marked H.S.B i dont know what to think, its confusing,
