I recently purchased a hs precision htr in 338 lapua are there any hs precision owners out there? The fit and finish of this thing is unreal does anyone have any experience with them?

I have had 3, down to 2 now. All three have functioned perfect, the fit/finish was very good and all 3 shot really well. They may not have made many options and the stock look pretty bland, but every one I have seen shot very well, you can’t say that for many companies.

Good rifles but overpriced. The fit and function is great. I had three, sold or traded them away as I was not using them. Two were target rifles but my eyes are going so I parted ways. One was an HTR in 308, the other the Varmint in 204. Also had an SPR in 7RM but I always carried one of my Sako or custom rifles while hunting.

it all bull####, unless you have directed experience with what happen, don't assumed that it fail because of the manufacture, How many HS precision they product? possible in the ten of thausand to hundred of thausand rifle and have no complain, and when you guy see this on the net and is all scary and caustion, but there is way to sabotage the rifle to cause it to go Kaboom. you can put explosive inside the shell to cause it to go over the pressure that it can handle, that just one way, but there is other way. Can assumed anything when see that on the net, what you see could be an aluminum action that got blown apart, you don' t know anything by looking at He said and she said.

Why are you selling it - you just bought it

No sure why he sold it, but I bought it. Makes 4 HS’s for me, functions and shoots like you would expect. I tossed a insite heathen brake on instead of the factory radial brake just to cut recoil and keep the blast out to the sides. 300gr bergers with h1000 at just over 2700fps seems to be a happy spot.
