H.S. Undertaker Turkey chokes for 870... wont fit...

Hiyas,

I'm just curious to find out if anyone has had problems with these Undertaker choke tubes with their rem 870s. I bought one recently and it even says on the choke tube itself, "fits all rem 870". Well it doesn't fit my 870. It's feels like it's cross-treading in the barrels treads. Anyone else had this problem? Is there any way for a quick fix?

Yeah my other choke tubes fit in just fine. As for bringing it back, I bought it in a "bargain bin" at the Gandermountain in Plattsburgh, NY... I'm not so sure I want to be driving around the states with a "gun part"... as stupid as it is. not only that, the drive is 1 hour and a half to get there... bah.

My friend's got all sorts of tools and he's going to be measuring the threads vs my remchoke threads tomorrow. They look the same to me but with accurate tools we should be able to confirm that it's no good. We'll see.

Probably just some filings or debri on the threads of the choke, my buddy had the same problem.
Have a good look at the threads and clean them up with a wire brush, go gently.
