I have had this shotgun for a few years and know nothing about it. Says H. Spencer and Co, model the Interchangable. It's got a metal badge in the stock, I think it may have been a police gun. CGN recently really helped me out with info on another gun on mine and am looking for the same on this one.

Any ideas as to info, value, year, etc?

Thanks!

Your gun is a trade brand name gun made or imported by Crescent Firearms for the Hibbard Spencer Bartlett Co. of St. Louis. It probably dates from around 1910-1920. The value unfortunately is only around $200.00.

If you take the barrels off and look at the barrel flats, there may be some proof marks. If it is a Belgum made gun, there will be an oval with the letters ELG within it and a crown at the top. If there are no proof marks then it was made in the US.
