An article in Handloader, says that H110 can lose efficiency in cold weather.

Given my previous experiences with the powder, I think i will concur. I had worked up a load for my wifes Ruger '96, that was quite accurate. But, when we visited the range in winter, it was all over the place.
Same batch of reloads!

I really like the power and accuracy afforded by H110, but I think it will be 4227 that will be the go to powder for me.

I don't know how cold it gets where you are shooting, but I use H-110 in one of my .357 Magnum loads (Nosler 125 JHP and CCI-550), and in my .44 Magnum revolver and rifle loads (Sierra 240 grain JHC and CCI-350).

Temperature ranges have been between 55 below zero (F) and 125 above. Never had any problems.
