The use of a light bullet is the bets starting point, as long as it is satisfactory for use in hunting if that's it's application. The next step is to find an accurate load whose recoil is still manageable. If minimum posted loads are still too stiff, there's no reason why you can't use published cast bullet loads such as found in the Lyman cast Bullet Handbook.
You seem to have 150 gr RN's - here are some light loads with the two powders you have:
IMR or H4198 - 25 to 36 grs
IMR or H4895 - 29 to 43 grs
Before anyone else sees the need to point this out, I do understand that the IMR and Hodgdon versions of 4198 and 4895 are not the same powder, but they are close, and since even the highest level I shared is well below SAAMI max for the 30/06, they're both "safe".
