Hello everyone,

i have been looking at some of the Horus reticles available in some mid and high end scopes. I thought I could possibly make good use of the H59 reticle. For some of you having scopes with that reticle, could you please share your appreciation of the H59 compared to more standard crosshairs? Some people think they are too busy, obscuring some of the FOV.

Thanks

Think of it as a crack on your windshield. At first it may seem really busy and confuse your picture and all you can really focus on, but after a while it becomes part of the background noise until you actively begin looking for it.

I for one like them. Great tool and fast to use for matches where you don't have time to dial. Also makes shot corrections a piece of cake.

I tend to think that using that reticle with MTC turrets could be a good combination. You dial elevation in 1.0 mil increment using the MTC to quickly get there and then use the reticle for decimal correction. That must be faster then dialing in 0.1 mil increment using only the turret!

The whole point is that you do not even need to touch your turrets. Especially when you get into a good position and do not want to break it. If you are going to the MTC turrets for adjustment to adjust full Mil values, the added time to dial to 1.1 is hardly noticeable.
