Just want to say Thanks to everyone who put together a great and fun match on Saturday.

Aside from me recovering from my sprained ankle I sustained on Family Day I had lots of fun but thankfully no El Presidente.

Tried out my GoPro cam, full 1080p HD, but may play with placement. Had it mounted on the brim of my baseball cap but may try a shoulder strap. Got to get ready for the Provincials! :D

^^^ I got the Full HD model with the helmet strap. It's the most expsensive one. You can buy the Naked version which is jus the HD cam itself. There is a lower model but not full HD.

Water proof down to 60 meters. Was great for my scuba diving trip in Costa Rica, Pacific side, but too bad the water is green.
 
So you went with the GoPro, nice vid. Been playing around with mine also. Did you record this video with the solid water proof case or the vented case? Just wondering regarding the audio(sounds great).
 
^^^^ With the vented back. I drilled a hole through the brim of a baseball cap and used a bolt, washer and the GoPro tripod mount.

I may try making a armband strap if the wrist strap is too tight.

I think the chest mount strap is too goofy looking IMO.

Mine came with the three band head strap, seems to be very secure while on my hat. Plus it gives you the ability to set it the way you want. Now if i could just figure out how to use my sony movie studio software life would be good! Sucks being computer stupid.:)
 
So did mine but it feels too constricting so I mounted it using the GoPro Tirpod Mount.

I use Windows 7 and edited with Windows Movie Maker for my video.

That's it, I'm buying a GoPro cam

THE ROC, any idea if Future shop carries the standard definition camera? The website only lists the 960p (200$) and helmet model (@350$)
