That`s right, for 10 consecutive minutes I was the "C" division pin king.
It all started when I attended my first ever bowling pin match at HAHA (Hamilton Anglers and Hunting Association).
I was a little nervous about embarassing myself but decided screw it I`m here for a good time and so I shot.
The idea is that you shoot 3 - 5 pin relays and your score is the total of all 3 times.
My first relay was an 8.39 sec, my second relay was a 5.30 sec and my third relay was a 60.0 sec due to not being able to finish because of a squib and a stuck bullet.
So with a total time of 73.39 sec I was king of the C division for 10 minutes.
All that aside this was the most fun I have had shooting in a long time and I hope some of you can make it out for the next PIN match in October.
No #### guys this is a ####ing blast no pun intended.
A big thanks to acrashb and the HAHA clubfor the invitation, this is a first class venue and I look forward to doing some more shooting there in the future.

On the revolver? Yes - although that's just because I can't get decent velocity from Titegroup, my only handgun powder (.357 needs aa#9 or the like). I use an RCBS lockout die on my press to prevent squibs.

A squib load would scare me tons. You were using factory ammo?

No, they were my reloads and it did not sound like a squib.
Tim from Al Simmons was standing right behind me and he agreed that it did not sound like a squib but the bullet was stuck half way down the barrel so something went wrong.
I cleared the barrel and shot another set with no problems.
I have reloaded over 1000 rounds without a problem on this press.
That said the fault lies with me so I will have to be more diligent when reloading.

Here is a hint. If you're holding a shotgun pin match, and this little Armenian-Canadian lady with an irish last name steps up to the line, just hand her your wallet and say thank you. You'll save on ammo.

Hicaliber was back last Sunday with Trident, who outshot Hicaliber with Hicaliber's own gun... :)

You can find the scores on the "Results" part of the website, http://www.hahaclub.ca/ .

Paulette from Al Simmons drew door prizes (donated by Stoeger Canada, FN Sports, and Al Thompson & Co) at the end of the Sunday match (email to winners shortly) - which was a nice surprise from our sponsor (that would be Simmons).

No new video, but we'll have some new pics up in a few days. If you haven't watched the 'old' video yet, check it out (http://www.hahaclub.ca/video/pinMatch2006high.wmv), new link at about 8MB.

It was a great year, lots of safe shooters and good weather to go with it. Next year's dates will be chosen in early spring, so plan to check the web site around March to schedule your summer!

That would be cool to do!!! Too bad my club doesnt do it :(

Nice video!

Whats how many yards is the pins from the shooter?

where do you get pins for that sort of match?
how much do they cost?
sounds like a great time!

PFO

Most bowling alleys are more then happy to give you their old pins so they don`t have to pay to have them haule away.
I picked up a few cases, I too am going to practice. Errr I mean cheat.
