Hail the World King............

Certainly a classic among Canadian hunters.

For all the hunting threads that ask "Is the X cartridge good enough for Y game?", nobody seems to even ask if the .303 British is enough for anything. Just too many people with grandfathers or fathers or who themselves filled the freezer with them for too many years to even ask any more.

I'm a proud supporter of the True King. 1915 SMLE MKIII, bubba'd in the 50's or 60's some time and given to me by my grandfather. Shoots just fine out to a couple hundred meters. Nice modern load with a quality bullet, more than enough gun.

Good old .303's have raked in more game in Canada than you can shake a stick at. I used a SMLE "Churchill" bubba for years on deer. Now I must have 15 or more in my "collection". Great caliber, great rifles, great people who own and shoot them. Simple as that!!:p:p
