Hi All:

I'm completely new to the shooting sport, and am looking forward to trying target and trap and skeet shooting.

I also, recently joined the PCDHFC (pcdhfc.com).

I know I should have tried shooting a bunch of guns first, but I've bought a pistol and rifle and looking to meet some people who can show me how to shoot (I'll pay your day pass, or buy you some beer :D) before I sign up for some courses later this year.

Welcome. I also go to that range but have yet to get around to a membership; just pay the drop-in fee. :D
What kind of guns are you shooting, and what part of Van? maybe if our schedules agree we can head on up.
 
No need for a day pass (beer is always good...after) Just go talk to John P. (RO) at PoCo and chat with the reg. guys. I am sure you will find most of the guys up there friendly and happy to help...PoCo is for the most part a good bunch of folks... Enjoy and welcome.
 
Hello from PoCo!

I am new to shooting sports, having just received my PAL in December, 2006. I have been bowhunting for two years and recently purchased a Ruger 10/22. I look forward to being a part of this community.
 
Woohoo more 604 people! Start a thread over in the Events & Gathering forum when you've picked a day to go up to shoot. I'm sure you'll get tons of replies with people willing to show up and help you out with any questions you might have. I will try to make it if it's one of the days where I don't have to work.
