Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how much a Hakim in decent condition may go for.

$350 - $500, depending on condition. Magazines, slings, etc change the price accordingly.

$400. Roughly the same as SVT's, a little more usually. Rarer, but also less sought after.

What are Hakims like on brass? Apparently I heard that brass doesn't last long in them if you reload.

Depends on your reloads and the gas valve setting.
Avoid slow burning powders and you'll be fine.
If you want to save your brass, just tape a big foam chunk on the shell deflector.

"...What are Hakims like on brass?..." Same as any other semi-auto. Case life depends entirely on the load used.

Assuming you can find them afterwards! Just like the Ljungman it is patterned after, it chucks brass a long way.
