Hakim Sling options

Hey y'all:

I'm looking for a sling for my Hakim, and I have heard that while the original slings are rare, the same slings for the AG 42 and swedish mausers will fit the Hakim. Can any confirm this for me, or tell me if there are any other slings that are known to fit.

I use an American M1 Garand Web sling on mine. An expedient you could use would be a Norinco M14 sling. Kind of looks cheap though.

I tried an Enfield Web sling, but it wouldn't fit properly, so I eventually put it on my Egyptian FN49.

Sorry I can't tell you if an AG42 sling would work or not... It looks like it could, but not sure.
