I have been looking for some for my S&W Performance Series 1911 for quite a while. Found some at Cabelas but the shipping cost was so out to lunch I had to pass. Just got this pict in an e-mail from a co-worker asking if I knew anyone that could use two unopened cans!! He only wants $20 whoo hoo!! Time to smoke the new Lee six cavity mold and heat er up!

Have you tried using graphite spray for your molds? Works pretty good for my older style Lee molds. The new ones seem to work much better and don't need any smoke or graphite.

Hopefully the powder was stored good, certainly looks like it was.

No, haven't tried that .. I think I have some Remington graphite spray in a can somewhere in the mess that is my re-loading room. I have some white graphite powder that I use when neck sizing my rifle brass but other than trying to apply it with a brush I don't know how it would work on the mold. This is a brand new Lee mold so as you say, may be just fine as is, we'll see how it works. If I can find the spray I'll give it a go, otherwise I'll go old school and smoke it. Thanks for the info.
