I like my pumpkins toasty... Full toilet paper rolls soaked in kerosene for a few hours before the big day and they light up 2-3' flames for 45 minutes per roll. Drop a new roll in with bbq tongs as needed. Become the neighborhood badass overnight. Been doing it for about 5 years now, made the papers a few times and I now see youtube videos with the idea in it too.

I usually buy a big economy size package of 30 rolls of fluffy TP and put them in a garbage can filled with about 60L of kerosene for soaking. After halloween I put the leftover kerosene back in their containers and use them again the next year. Probably uses about 10L per year to keep 3-4 pumpkins alight all night.

Wife and I made this crime scene, poor pumpkin took a shotgun blast to the head. Suspect is an escaped convict from the county pen (Not a real pumpkin in his head)

I'll replace with nighttime photos tonight
