be cool for the movies though, Longshot you listening? I want to see them on Stargate!

I have to wonder why they made the prototype in 45 though; UZI mags are cheap and available, 9mm is more than enough for an SMG with a rate of fire that high, and they're going to need something with a mag capacity of at least 30 rounds to begin with. ?

It would kick ass mounted under the foregrip of a carbine though.
I still prefer the P90, but this is a promissing step forward.

I must be almost unique. I consider the technical aspects of things like this...thinking about how it works, while others offer the insightful "FUGLY" type comments.

Just get the Glock mount.

Keep it up and I'll put one on an 180B. Learn to shup.

It's probably very similar to the MGD design, with a flywheel instead of a bolt that requires a raceway; I bet if you turned the flywheel on it's side, with a bolt and barrel each working off of one side of that flywheel, you'd have a rate of fire that left EVERYTHING else in the dust. The WW1 German Gast worked something like that, but with two conventially-styled bolts and raceways inside one wide receiver.

I think it cocks by pulling that lever on the bottom. It likely has a conventional bolt pressing agains a loaded leaf spring like a luger's mainspring. I'd be shocked if it had a flywheel action.
