Hammer vs. disconnector

Apparently, my hammer is winning...

The disconnector is getting the sh!t kicked out of it.

The edges are rolled over it's hitting so hard.

How come ??? Cycling too fast ? It does recoil pretty hard for a .223...

Not familiar with this, any help is appreciated.

Mine's like that too. Doesn't make any difference in performance. It's been like that for years...

something aint right maybe the hammer could get rounded over where it is hitting the dc

if its an SBR it could be too much recoil, or not enough lock time, you could put a new cam pin or a heavier buffer, but its mostly aesthetic, the worst that could happen is break off you disconnector, but i really doubt it

Why not take a bit off the back of the hammer - it's not like you need it to run a safety sear.

I also noticed some trigger slap beofre, but can't remember if it's still doing it...

Going to the range this weekend though, will report any finding.
