Picked this up from a cgner last month and got the optic on and want to share. It is the charter arms explorer 2, not sure the year but think it is 80's. Take off from the ar7 survival rifle. Has some issues feeding. But fun. Not a tacker. Going to try cci mini mags to see if that helps the feed issues.8rnd mag. http

8 round mag and spare mag in grip.

Han Solo carried a Heavy Blaster Pistol. It is a modified Mauser. This is what it looks like:

Here is a Mauser with it's rare broomhandle:

Thanks Tack, I just called my girl the Han Solo! Lol. Wanted to post it just because I had never heard of the explorer 2 until I bought it. Think it was used as the prop pistol in the 70's Buck Rogers TV show. Not as cool as Han Solo. Lol If I could afford a c-96 I would. As long as it was a restricted model.

Former full full time photographer.

The bend is lens distortion caused by a small lens up close. its the adds 10 lbs effect

THx for posting the pics, what a neat gun. The real prop pics after make it all the more interesting

thx guys

The explorer rifle and explorer 2 barrels are not interchangeable. Sucks I thought about it. The rifle with short barrel would be fun.

No I mean have a closer look at that 5th picture of OP's. It's the only one that looks the the barrel is bent. Notice the barrel nut is obviously not seated.

I see what you mean. The nut free floats when not attached. On a side note this model had 3 barrel lengths available. 6",8",10". This one has a 8".
